LGBTQ Leadership Institute 2020: Jen Stout

Jen Stout is the Maternal, Child Health Director at EveryStep in Des Moines, Iowa. Jen has worked in human services since graduating from Wartburg College with a BSW in 1997. She’s spent the last 13 years in non-profit leadership. Jen’s strengths as a connector and relator assist in her ability to bring together diverse individuals and build cohesive teams. Naturally introverted, Jen is regularly called to step out of her comfort zone to accompany her two-year-old pup Josie on neighborhood adventures due to Josie’s almost debilitating fear of missing out. Jen enjoys music, traveling with her wife and two children, hiking, and binging watching documentaries.
