Maddie is a proud alumna of the University of Iowa with a degree in Journalism specializing in Critical Cultural Competency in non-profit communications. She has worked with both local and national progressive organizations fighting for equality. As One Iowa’s communications and events manager, she runs all of the organization’s social media, breaks down complex issues relating to the LGBTQ community, and manages our flagship events, such as the Gala, Workplace Culture Summit, and Health and Wellness Conference. You can find her thrifting, at the pilates studio, or with her beloved dog Pearl.
