The One Iowa Education Fund is dedicated to achieving full equality for LGBT Iowans through grassroots efforts and education. In 2013 we are focusing on a number of issues and programs including:
- Continuing to fight back against any attacks against marriage equality and our families,
- Making the conservative case for marriage equality,
- Putting the health of LGBT Iowans and our families first,
- Decriminalizing AIDS/HIV,
- Protecting fair courts and an independent judiciary,
- Making Iowa a better place to live and work for transgender people,
- Engaging communities of color in seeking full equality for all Iowans through our newly formed Donald Suggs Jr. Legacy Fund,
- Training supportive Iowans to take the message of equality to their friends and neighbors,
- Working with students on campuses across the state to make a difference,
- Supporting LGBTQ youth and working with communities, parents, school administrators and other organizations to create healthy communities for young Iowans to learn; and,
- Building relationship with congregations and communities of faith.
